CHAPTER ZERO

Congratulations, loyal Bloggers!

You made it through the twenty four tragic, suspenseful and action-packed books of Homer’s Iliad. (I hope you REALLY did!)

But before you go out and brag about your accomplishment, there is one more thing you have to do. The good news is that this is the last installment of the two-months of reading, reflecting and writing. The better news is that this will be considered as your final project for the third quarter.

This final blog will be worth 30 points, instead of 10. We therefore expect to find Something Special in your presentation. It may be a scanned drawing, music, pictures, a linked webpage, an attached video, or anything that will spice up your entry.

You only have to answer ONE very challenging question.

This is called Chapter Zero:

If you were to change one event or chapter from the Iliad, and replace it with your own story, what chapter or episode will that be?

Write your “version” of the story.

Narrate how it will affect the entire story or ending of the Iliad.

The deadline for this is on Sunday, December 20, 2009, 11:59PM.

Ready. Set. Write!
